It's a product so useless that its creators didn't even waste time coming up with a clever name for it. The Wearable Towel has three arm openings placed along the side and does not need a fastener. The infomercial is hilarious.

BEER BOX BANDIT - HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?

Something tells me this was a last minute decision! If you're going to rob a convienent store what better disguise than a beer box on your head.

Here's the story.

Police in Nebraska are looking a man who stole cigarettes while disguising himself with a beer carton on his head.

Lincoln police Capt. Bob Kawamoto said the man walked into a Kwik Shop convenience store before dawn Monday wearing an empty Bud Light box on his head as a mask.

Kawamoto said the man also had wrapped something around one of his hands, suggesting he was armed. But the man never showed a weapon.

Police said the bandit left with nine packs of smokes valued at nearly $50.

Police spokeswoman Katie Flood said Tuesday morning that the robbery was captured on video. She said the man also dropped the empty 12-pack box as he fled, and it will be checked for fingerprints.

JIMMY PAGE AM SELLS FOR $30,000 ON EBAY!

Turns out just one Led Zeppelin fan had the means — or perhaps the inclination — to buy one of the coolest pieces of Led Zep-associated memorabilia to surface in some time.This morning at 9 a.m. Pacific time, a sole eBay bidder coughed up a whopping $30,000 for a 1971 200-watt Orange MATAMP purportedly owned and played by Jimmy Page during the band’s glory years.

The amp, which appears to be authentic and is apparently in the hands of a private collector, was advertised as “used on the 1971 world tour and subsequent recordings, and can be seen in various stage photos as late as October 1973.” The user-ID of the winning bidder was not disclosed.

HOT FOR TEACHER NIGHT?

Remember Mary Kay Letourneau? She's that former teacher who got knocked up by one of her sixth-grade students . . . a guy named Vili Fualaau . . . back in the 1990s.

Just to refresh your memory, Mary Kay was a 34-year-old married mother of four when she started her relationship with Vili . . . who was only 13 years old at the time.

In 1997, Mary Kay was arrested and sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for statutory rape. She was released in 2004 . . . and in 2005 Mary Kay and Vili got married. Now they have two daughters together.

Anyway, you might think someone like Mary Kay would try to avoid reminding people she's a convicted sex offender . . . but, apparently, that's not the case.

On Saturday, Mary Kay hosted a "Hot for Teacher" promotion at a bar in Seattle . . . called Fuel Sports Eats and Beats . . . where she signed autographs while Vili acted as the bar's DJ.

According to the owner of the bar, quote, "It turned into sort of a love story. I realize it had a sick twist at the beginning, but they're both adults now. They're both married by the state of Washington. So, it's just go and have fun on a Saturday night."

Look, I understand Mary Kay and Vili are both adults now, and they can do whatever they want. But she was his seventh grade teacher. I don't care what you say. That's messed up.

ANOTHER OFF-ROAD TRIP IN MY JEEP!

I took another off-road trip with Just Jeeps of Omaha. This time to Kansas Rocks, a off-road park near Ft. Scott Kansas. We has a great time...and there was only one trip to the ER. I put a 1/4 inch rod through my left ring finger...ouch it hurt! Somehow I did it while putting the doors back on my Jeep. Thanks to Crystal for bandaging me up and Derek for running me to the hospital. Other than that we had a great time.

I actually think my Jeep was "getting me back" for scuffing the windshield frame on a tree during one of the trails.

I can't wait to go again!

Well there it is in all it's glory! The new license plate for Nebraska......zzzzzzz.....sorry I fell asleep for a moment looking at it. Wow nothing like a boring state license plate to promote a state that MANY feel is a boring place to visit. My guess is they wanted more people to spend the extra $70 to buy the Husker plate.

I did hear one rumor that we were punked by the website www.collegehumor.com. I heard that they asked people who visited their site to take a moment to vote for this plate so we would be stuck with the most boring choice of them all! WELL PLAYED COLLEGE HUMOR...well played.

If you have been an ardent Beatles fan, and have been stalking the band through the years then you will well remember this one time when the manager of the band, Brian Epstein gifted each member a cool, trippy Mini Cooper.

Well, the remake of this car has just been put under the hammer. Unlike other Cooper’s, this one has some cool artwork done on its outsides that take you back to the 60s. The original version also got its share of fame like its illustrious owner. This car starred in the Beatle’s Magical Mystery Tour movie. The one we feature here has some design suggestions by Harrison’s wife, Olivia as well.

Olivia Harrison will be jingling the keys of this car on behalf of the Material World Charitable Foundation founded by her husband himself. This auspicious occasion will take place at MINI United festival held from May 22 to May 24.

DOM DELUISE HAS DIED

Comedy legend Dom Deluise has died at the age of 75. What a funny man. I will never forget his scene stealing moments in the Cannonball Run movies, Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs. If you didn't know he did the voice of "Pizza the Hut" in Spaceballs.

WOODSTOCK 40TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT!

This summer will mark the 40th anniversary of the original Woodstock . . . and there's been some talk about holding an anniversary show sometime this summer. And now, it's finally starting to sound like it's actually going to fly.

According to "Billboard", the concert will happen on August 15th . . . the same day that Woodstock began, back in 1969. It'll go down at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York, which was built on the site of the original concert.

And some of the classic Woodstock performers will be back. So far, the bill features: The Levon Helm Band, Jefferson Starship, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Ten Years After, Canned Heat, Mountain, and Country Joe McDonald.
