LED ZEPPELIN REUNITES!

The rumors WERE true! LED ZEPPELIN WILL reunite for a gig on November 26th at London's O2 Arena.

It's a tribute concert for Atlantic Records founder AHMET ERTEGUN. . . who discovered Zeppelin back in the '60s. He died last December, after falling and hitting his head backstage at a ROLLING STONES show.

Original members JIMMY PAGE, ROBERT PLANT and JOHN PAUL JONES will be joined by JASON BONHAM. . . the son of the original drummer JOHN BONHAM, who died in 1980.

Zeppelin will headline the show with a full, two-hour set. Other acts will include: Pete Townshend (of The Who), former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman, Foreigner's Mick Jones and 20-year-old Paolo Nutini.

The O2 arena seats just 22,000. . . so tickets are going to be hard to come by. Here are the details: Tickets cost $254. . . they'll be available on a lottery-basis at www.AhmetTribute.com. . . and proceeds will benefit Ertegun's children's education fund.
For now, anyway, this is being billed as a ONE-TIME THING. Supposedly, there are no plans to drop any new material or play any further dates. There's also been no indication whether this gig will be recorded for sale later on as a CD or DVD.
I have tried to get through for hours to register for the lottery, but the website is so overloaded I can't even get through...maybe you'll have better results. GOOD LUCK! If you do get through let me know at 951-1059.
