COLTS CROWD NOISE....CHEATING?
The NFL is investigating complaints from the Patriots that the Colts had illegally piped in crowd noise is over. It didn't take the league long to find out that the Colts were not at fault for a crowd noise issue."CBS has informed us that the unusual audio moment heard by fans during the Patriots-Colts game was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck and was isolated to the CBS broadcast," NFL vice president Greg Aiello tells us. "It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium."According to a report on Yahoo.com, the NFL opened an investigationg after the Patriots complained of loud noise in the RCA Dome during Sunday's matchup of undefeated teams in Indianapolis.

STEVE'S 1967 IMPALA PROJECT UPDATE!
Well this weekend was filled with a high energy arc, smoke and some VERY ugly welds. I have never welded before this weekend and let me tell you the guys on American Chopper make it look VERY easy....it's not. I really figured I could just cut out the patch panels for the floor pans on my 1967 Impala an quickly weld them up. You know, just pull the trigger and "poof" it would be done. I was amazed how hard it was. Prize guy Heath came over and gave me some pointers and got me started, but basically I need a ton of practice before I can make a weld that holds well and looks pretty.Of course the most important thing to me is that I'm having fun and getting DIRTY!

JON KITNA QB FOR MY LIONS IS THE MAN!

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -- Detroit Lions quarterback Jon Kitna and his wife dressed up as a naked man and a fast-food drive-through attendant at a teammate's Halloween party, depicting an embarrassing moment for one of the team's assistant coaches.
Now Kitna is getting some flak on local TV and in a newspaper column. Kitna said he was just trying to have fun, but regrets the scrutiny the costumes created.
"If I would've known this, I wouldn't have done it because I didn't want to try to bring attention to it," Kitna said Wednesday while surrounded by reporters and television cameras.
Defensive line coach Joe Cullen pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and guilty to impaired driving after he was arrested twice last year, once in August 2006 after police said he was driving nude through a Wendy's drive-through lane, and a week later when they said he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Cullen later was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings twice a week.
"He's done everything they've asked of him," Lions coach Rod Marinelli said before this season started. "And, there's a lot more that he's had to do."
Marinelli said Kitna's costume was a non-issue with the team.
"It's Halloween," Marinelli said. "I'll leave it at that."
Cullen said "no comment" as he walked off the practice field Wednesday.
Kitna and his wife wore the costumes to a teammate's charity party Monday in suburban Detroit, where the prize for the best outfit was a car.
"All I was trying to do was wear a costume that people would have fun with," Kitna said. "I wasn't trying to demean Joe. If he hadn't come so far, I would not ever have done it. He's very confident of who he is and is very peaceful about what's happened in the past.
"When we talked yesterday, the first question out of his mouth was, 'Did you win?' He seemed to not have a problem with it."
Defensive tackle Cory Redding backed that notion.
"He was still red this morning because Kitna didn't win," Redding said. "It was all fun and games."
Kitna, a born-again Christian who invites teammates to his house to explore their faith, also laughed at the costumes that poked fun at him and his wife.
"Somebody dressed up as me and my wife and came in Bible-thumping," Kitna said with a grin.
BABY BIGFOOT CAUGHT ON A HUNTERS CAMERA!
I love stories about Big Foot, Aliens and the Loch Ness Monster....so I was really excited when I came across this story about a baby Big Foot from the Associated Press."We couldn't figure out what they were," Mr Jacobs said in a report by the Associated Press. "I've been hunting for years and I've never seen anything like this.''
The hunter said that after a week of trying to decipher what had walked past his camera lens, he contacted the Bigfoot Research Organization.
The Bigfoot research organization said it believes it's a baby Bigfoot. Bigfoot enthusiasts say it appears to be the real deal but, perhaps predictably because of the quality of the photos, other experts say it looks like a bear "with a severe case of mange", according to AP.
Paul Majeta of the Bigfoot group said he has

For all the heat "24" gets for supporting torture tactics. . . it doesn't look like they're going to be easing up on it at all. In fact, in this preview, doesn't it look like they're going out of their way to be PRO-TORTURE???

DON'T TASE MY BRO REMIX!
Last month, we told you about 21-year-old Andrew Meyer. . . he's the University of Florida student who wouldn't stop questioning SENATOR JOHN KERRY at a campus event, so he was restrained by the campus police.
And, even though he begged the officers, quote, "Don't Tase me, bro!". . . they DID, in fact, Taser him.
The whole thing was caught on video, and became a MONSTER YouTube sensation.
Well. . . yesterday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement released its report on the incident and decided that the officers did NOT use excessive force on Meyer.
The report says that the police tried to remove Meyer from the event, but he broke away and wouldn't listen. So they used a Taser instead of, quote, "hand strikes, kicks, knees or baton hits, that would've looked like [they] were beating Meyer into submission."
--The two officers who restrained and Tasered him had been on administrative leave since the incident on September 17th. . . yesterday, they were reinstated.

I THINK I NEED MORE PRACTICE!
