STEVE KING BLOOPERS

I went over to our sister station Action 3 News to record promos for the prime time lineup...but apparently I can't read! By the way, what's up with the sleeves on my shirt? It looks like I have wings!?!

STONES FAN!!!

Even in death....Rolling Stones rule!

: A BURGLAR TRIED TO BREAK INTO A HOUSE . . . BUT GOT STUCK, HANGING UPSIDE DOWN IN THE WINDOW FRAME

I LOVE dumb criminals.

Recently, 32-year-old John Pearce of Dartford, England, made the bonehead decision that he was going to try and break into a house and rob it . . . in the middle of the day.

So John smashed out a front window and started to climb inside the house. But somehow, John managed to get his foot caught in the window frame . . . and he was left hanging UPSIDE DOWN in the window for over an hour.

A crowd of neighbors gathered around to make fun of John for being an idiot . . . and eventually, the police showed up and arrested him.

John's been charged with burglary with the relatively weak sounding charge of intent to steal.

CHINA'S CHEATING WAYS!

At the beginning of the Olympics, there was all kinds of talk about how at least one member of China's women's gymnastics team . . . a girl named HE KEXIN . . . wasn't old enough to compete in the Olympics.

Now, a computer security expert named Mike Walker says he found two spreadsheets in the cache of a Chinese search engine called Baidu . . . which list He's age as only 14.

In light of that evidence and other, quote, "discrepancies", the International Olympic Committee announced yesterday that they've now ordered an investigation to determine, once and for all, how old He actually is.

So you know, the U.S. stands to gain the most if He is disqualified for being too young. American gymnast NASTIA LIUKIN . . . who came in second to He in the uneven bars . . . would become the new gold medalist.

And if He is found to be too young to compete, China's team gold medal would be taken away . . . and awarded to the Americans who came in second.
HERE IS SOME OF THE EVIDENCE!

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED MICHAEL PHELPS COVER

If you've paid even the slightest amount of attention to the Beijing Olympics, you're probably well aware that MICHAEL PHELPS broke MARK SPITZ'S record for winning the most gold medals at a single Olympics.

Anyway, there's a famous picture of Spitz wearing all his gold medals . . . and the people over at "Sports Illustrated" thought it would be cool to have Phelps strike the same pose on the cover of their latest issue.

GREAT EBay REVENGE!

This is a great case of using EBay for revenge on a cheating spouse. This wife caught her husband with the other woman and "sold" the evidence on Ebay to embarrass them both.
The auction title is great too!

Thanks to the Internet, it's not hard to get a celebrity's autograph these days. That's why it's time to move to the next level: The "LIVE autograph".

As usual, WILLIAM SHATNER is leading the charge to that next level. He's a partner in a new site called LiveAutographs.com . . . where you not only get a celebrity to autograph a picture or a piece of memorabilia for you . . .

You also get a VIDEO of the celebrity autographing that piece of memorabilia . . . AND delivering a personalized message of YOUR choosing while he or she is signing it.

There aren't a lot of celebrities cooperating with the site yet, but there are some decent names . . . including Shatner, Danica Patrick, Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Carmen Electra, Raven-Symone and several cast members from "Lost".

Most of the other items are between $100 and $200 . . . but the most expensive are a TED NUGENT guitar, which will set you Republican rockers back $3,750 . . . and a NASA flight jacket autographed by astronaut BUZZ ALDRIN. That's $599.

2008 DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM AIRSHOW - THUNDERBIRDS!

I took my son Riley to the 2008 Defenders of Freedom Airshow at Offutt this weekend. I love anything to do with our military and this years event was AMAZING! What a great way to wrap up Air Force Week. We saw the old warbirds like the B-17 (my favorite), the B-25, the Japanese Zero, P51 and many others. The crowning moment is always when the Air Force Thunderbirds take to the sky. Here a very short video from the show.

Thanks to all the brave men and woman in our military who fight for our freedom everyday.

WHAT IS OUR PRESIDENT DOING WITH OUR OLYMPIC VOLLEYBALL TEAM?

President George W. Bush deciding whether or not to smack the butt of USA volleyball player Misty May-Treanor after she gave him the opportunity. It's good to be the President!
